Chapter 3: A new quest.

That night Rainwing had a dream. A war the biggest war ever, bigger then the battle with blood clan or the rats with Windclan. Rainwing was fighting Darkheart But before Darkheart luanched at him, he heard a voice. "Rainwing I need your help." Rainwing quickly woke up it was leafpool.

"yes, w-what is it, Leafpool?" *half-asleep*

"Rainwing, the village is being destroyed!"

Rainwing leapt up.

"BY WHO?"

"We dont know yet! Cats just started running in and redsky hasnt got back yet!" Leafpool meowed. "Alright....I think I know who did it" Rainwing meowed Running out to battle

Rainwing found Darkheart atop the tallest tree, basking in his triumph.

"YOU MONSTER!"

"hm?"

"THEY DID NOTHING TO YOU! NOTHING!!!! THEY DIDN'T DESERVE THIS!!!"

"Oh, but they did. If only you knew what their ancestors did, then you'd realize..."

"What could they have done to POSSIBLY deserve this?!?"

"Oh, well, you need to know the truth. What happened, buy, was...."

"I WONT LISTEN TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!" Rainwing YelledJumping straight up andwith claws out grabbed darkhearts neck and pulled him straight down to the ground. "I WONT LET YOU LIVE THIS TIME!" Rainwing yelled scratching Darkhears face.

"You....you arrogant little CHIIIIILLLLLLDD!!!!!!"


Rainwing: "I think i made him mad."

Darkheart: "DIIIEEE!!!!!" *kills Rainwing*


Rainwing awakens from yet another nightmare.
"Ugh.....what WAS that?....''

"A dream....?" Rainwing got up. "This...all of this.....I have to go some where i know that....." Rainwing got up and left camp. Having a feeling he was need somewhere.

He went back to where he encountered DH and ST.

"This is where i saw them last, bu they're not here now...."



"OH, INDEED WE ARE, BOY."

Rainwing turned around to see them walking towards him.

"I think I'm needed for something."

Spottedtalon said "Yes, Rainwing, you are. I shall tell you, if you are finally ready to listen."

Rainwing nodded.

"Good. Time you learned to truth. It all started ten years ago....."

"You can tell me But I wont help you with anything." Rainwing said Ready to listen but also ready if they attacked him.

"Fine. The people of this village had a treasure they desperately wanted to hide. So they sealed it away in a place no one would dare go. But, they gavethe next descendant a gift, so that he could find this place, for only he can rightly claim this treasure."

At this, Darkheart licked his lips and smiled, as if he knew something......

"And let me guess you think i'm the descendant?" Rainwing asked. "Yes we do." Darkheart replied.

"WRONG." Spottedtalon said.


they stared at him blankly.

"You ARE the descendant."

"WHAT?!"

"And how do you know that?" Rainwing asked.

"Because," Spottedtalon stated, "I'm the one who gave you 'The Gift'."

Rainwing stood shocked for a moment, then shook it off, exclaiming "Impossible! I don't remember you at all!"

"That's because it was done at your birth, too far back for you to remember."

"But....but I....I can't be 'The One'!"

Darkheart sneered. "Hey, I wasn't too happy hearing it either, kid."

Spottedtalon glared at him.

"You must understand, your destiny is to save the World."

Rainwing looked up in disbelief.

"Wha.....What?"

"THen why is Darkheart helping?" WHY would he want to save the world?" Rainwing looked at Darkheart. "WHY YOU LITTLE" Darkheart started.

Spottedtalon stopped him.

"Some things are better left without and explanation," he said, glaring at Darkheart."

"No, 'm going to teach this runt a lesson!" Darkheart said slamming Rainwing into a wall.

Rainwing was frozen with fear.

Before Darkheart could strike, Spottedtalon came in a blur and had Darkheart on the ground in a position so painful even Darkheart let out a scream.

Spottedtalon said to him in a tone so ferocious Rainwing tembled in fear "I SAID THAT IS NOT NECESSARY, DARKHEART. LEAVE IT ALONE."

"....I cant trust you! What if your lying? and what me to do somthing terrible?!" Rainwing yelled

Spottedtalon yelled "BECAUSE, I'M YOUR FATHER!!"


(haha, didn't see THAT coming, did you?"

"...No...He died....Fighting..BloodClan...Mom told me.....NO.....YOU CANT BE HIM!!!!" Rainwing Yelled.

"Your mother had to say that because if you knew before it was time, the entire plan would have been for naught. I'm sorry, son. It was the only way...."

"GRAGH! this is all happening to fast!! I have so much on my mind...Redsky.....Fuzzyfur.....Roseleaf.....StarClan...RefugeClan.....Dad.........Mom.....GRAGH!!!!!!!"Rainwing Yelled out loud.

Darkheart is out cold from his pinning.

Spottedtalon and Rainwing are both wracked with grief and sadness.

Rainwing let it out. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

and then he blacked out.

Rainwing woke up in Refugeclan's warrior den. "WHAT?!" Rainwing jumped up.
