Chapter 3: A new quest.

"He did it to protect us all....but it had happened differently then how he wanted it to happen..." rainwing meowed. Rainwing seemed as if he had changed a bit, he seemed more mature then he usally is.

"Rainwing. . ." Redsky cried. ". . . H- He said it himself. . .he had the power to save the clans. . .and to protect me. . . In the end. . .he did it . . . he saved us. . .excpecially you. . ." Redsky thought for a bit. "Wait. . do you think he knew? that you would die if you did it?" She got up and rubbed against the tree. "I need to get back to camp. . .They will get worried. Leafpool is looking for you. . ."

"He didnt know, he did it cuase he didnt want me to." Rainwing meowed. "Redsky.....I'm sorry..I tried to save him...he dident listen..." Rainwing meowed.

"I know. . .i was there. . .remember. . ." She burst out into tears. "Darkheart. . . "

That night. .

Redsky was walking in the temple again. . . Rubble lay everywhere. She saw i beautiful figure lay on the ground. It was Darkheart. A spirit from StarClan Came down glowing. "Redsky. . . do not greive my death. You should stay close to Rainwing. He will protect you and the clans. . ." he smiled and walked away. "Darkheart. . ."

"Hey....HEY....REDSKY!!!" a voice yelled. "Wha?" Redsky asked, "Fresh kill." Rainwing meowed setting a vole down near her.

"Rainwing. . ." Redsky forced a smile. "Thank you. . . " She took small bites out of the prey, apparently not hungry.

"Well I'm going to talk to Fuzzyfur" Rainwing meowed leaving, Still acting more mature then normal.

Redsky sighed. "Hmm. . . maybe. . . .someday. . ." She smiled faintly. "Maybe.. . . Today i'll pay a visit to my mother. . ."

"Darkness...Destroy.....Evil...."A demon said to all the other demons

"Mother?" Redsky Asked repeteatedly. "Are you here?"

"Yes I am. Redsky dear what are you doing here?" FeatherMoon asked. "Alot of reasons..." Resky replied.

"I missed you Feathermoon, and a lot of things are going on. . ." Redsky said to her mother. "I thought i'd pay a visit. . ."

"I see, it is good to see you too.....And i'm guessing one of the reasons are about Rainwing and Darkheart?" feathermoond asked

"I guess. . . Darkheart is dead. . . and Rainwing is acting different. I'm lost, Feathermoon. I need help!" Redsky pleaded.

"....Darkheart is dead... it must be different. And rainwing acting different? He acted like his normal self when I talked to him!" Feathermoon meowed.

"He seems more. . . .mature. . . " Redsky said. "He's just so different!"

"He dident even act mature when he talked to me, and he was just here, you came in only a couple minutes after he left." Feathermoon meowed.

"Weird. . . maybe just around me?"

"Possibly, wonder if he's acting that way for a reason." Feathermoon meowed.

"Do you know anything about this Feathermoon?" Redsky pondered.

"ME!? Oh no, nothing of the sort!" Feathermoon meowed starting to act weird. "Well Guess I should go on a walk now Good bye redsky!" Feathermoon meowed leaving in a hurry.

"Mm hm. . .. sure. . . ." Redsky said to herself. "Sorry Feathermoon but your easy to read. . ." She sighed.

"....Fine, I know something But you'll have to ask rainwing yourself." Feathermoon meowed.

"Okay. . ." Redsky sighed. She had recovered from the misury of Darkheart dying. She trotted to Raainwing. "Is there something you would like to tell me?" she asked nosily.

"....." Redsky just sat their then realised that rainwing was looking at somebdy else. "...Rainwing?" Redsky asked.
