Chapter one....The Monster out there.

My Name is Keenan, I am a wolf. Humans are gone forever....and now....The life of animals might end soon too...

Ukarii sat on the cliff, away from her pack. She had memories of a horrible sickness. They flashed through her memory like steel through skin. Then a blood stained end, as the mixed scream of horror and thought, echoed through her mind. Who uttered this scream? And how did she end up like this?

Keenan ran through the forest as quickly as possible as something chased him. "Must...Run..quicker!!!" Kenan yelled starting to dash, The thing was right on his tail.

Ukarii wandered through the nearby woods. She heard the fearful panting of another wolf. Her fur waved as she turned, confused. The wolf was in sight.

"RUN!!!!!" Keenan yelled seeing a wolf in front of him just then a dragon flew right past him.

The vision of her past, or what seemed like her past, flashed back to her head. "C-Could this be a. . ." She muttered to herself.

Keenan ran straight for the other wolf and knocked her out of the way as a giant fireball flew past. "SHESH!!! I said move!" Keenan said a bit annoyed.

"I'm sorry. . ." Ukarii told him apollogetically. She looked at the dragon. "We should kill it." She said. "If we don't we'll be chased to the ends of the earth."

"Well uh I would, But How can you kill a Dragon!?!" Keenan asked, You see....Dragons cannot be killed easily, you'd need almost a whole pack of animals to destroy a dragon and even then most of the pack would die.

"Well, what do we do then?" Ukarii asked urgently, her blackish-silver fur ruffling. "By the way, my name is Ukarii. We can talk more later."

"I'm Keenan, And watch out!!!" Keenan yelled slamming Ukarii out of the way as another fire ball flew past.

"Well, i'm getting tired." Ukarii said as she turned around. She jumped at the dragon without thinking. She soon had the dragons face shredded and bleeding. "You going to help me?" She asked. "If we do this right, noone will get hurt."

The dragon quickly flinged Ukarii of his head and slammed Keenan into a tree before he could do anything.

"He is close to death." Ukarii predicted as she jumped back up and left a final swipe of her dark and powerful paw. Just as she predicted the dragon lay motionless on the ground. "Looks like I had to do it myself." Ukarii sighed.

"Smart..." Keenan said looking at ukarii.

"What do you mean?" Kyoko asked curiously. "Well, i promised we'd talk. . ."

"No reason." Keenan said.

"So. . ." Ukarii started. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked. "Hmm. . . What pack are you from?" She asked.

"I'm from Pack Moon, You?" keenan asked.

"Umm. . ." Ukari paused. "Yo tell you the truth, i'm a loner." Ukarii said calmly.

"I see..." Keenan said looking at Ukarii concerned wondering if she ever got lonely.

"I know what your thinking. Yes." Ukarii replied.

"Well then.. why dont you... Come back with me to my pack?" keenan asked.

"I find that ......Interesting. . ." Ukarii replied.

"why?" keenan asked.
