Chapter 4: The dark warning.

The demon bouced around angrily. It spoke in an unnatural language. Twilightpaw stared in horror. "What is this. . . thing?" It ran off into the forest. "Thank you for saving me," Twilightpaw told the cat. "What is your name?"

"DarkClaw, That's all you need to know though." The cat meowed walking away.

"Wait!" Twilightpaw yelled as she ran up to Darkclaw. "I've heard of a cat with a name similar to yours. His name was Darkheart. Last gathering a cat named Redsky told me about him." Twilightpaw said. "Just thought i'd strike up a conversation. "She said he died. She got pretty sad sbout it." Twilightpaw stopped. Darkclaw kept walking on. "Where are you going?" She asked.

"None of your business, Now get back home." The cat meowed walking after the demon. This cat was black with white stripes going across his body. like a dead animal you could see his bones point out of his skin.

"Wait!" Twilightpaw yelled. "I don't want to go home yet." She stared at his pelt. "You look. . . unnusual. . ." she remarked.

"Like I said none of your business now get home!" Darkclaw meowed more angry.

Twilightpaw stepped back, startled. "Okay. . ." she said quietly. She walked back to ShadowClan. "The next gathering is tomorrow." She said to herself. "I'll tell Redsky about this cat. See if he is the same mysterious cat she was talking about."

The Next morning-

"Welcome to the gathering everyone!" Firestar meowed.

Twilightpaw weaved through the cats. She couldn't find Redsky anywhere. She found a cat that smelled of ThunderClan. It was Rainwing. She walked up to him. "Do you know where Redsky is?" The young ShadowClan apprentice asked. "She had kits, she is back in the Nursery." Rainwing replied. "Well, I have an important message to tell her. It's about this cat she told me about. . . I think she called him Darkheart."

"Yea Darkheart was A friend of ours. what about him?" Rainwing asked.

"Well, I think I saw him in the forest today." Twilight paw explained shyly. "He had an unnussual pelt, like Redsky explained he looked before death. I was walking throught the forest by myself, and this black thing attacked me. He came out of nowhere and saved me."

"..Interest...I'll go tell her, after all I am her mate." Rainwing meowed.

"Wait!" Twilightpaw shouted. "I've also been having dreams. I havn't told anyone, and I trust you to tell noone but Redsky." Twilightpaw started. "I've been having dreams about a cat, looks kind os like Redsky, He was walking through the forest, no emotions. Then fire."

"..Flamekit... my own son?" Rainwing meowed confused.

"What do you mean?" Twilightpaw asked him, confused. "Since when do you have a son? How old is he?" She asked.

"Like I said, Redsky is my mate and she just had kits. One of them is called Flamekit and looks just like what you described." Rainwing meowed.

"Oh, my. . ." Twilightpaw mewed concerned. "I hope you find a solution to this. What do you think it means?"

"I'm not sure..Best I tell Redsky...Mind I ask What your name is?" Rainwing asked.

"My name is Twilightpaw." Twilightpaw replied. "I am from ShadowClan."

"Thanks Twilightpaw! Well I'll be seeing you around. you can sit next to me if you want, and then come back with me to tell redsky." Rainwing meowed cheerfully.

"No, I'd better go woth my clan. I'll tell you if I have any more dreams." "Silence." Spoke TallStar (Is he still alive? I'm still reading Dawn, and he seems close to death.) "It is time for the gathering." Firestar stepped up. "Darkness has covered the forest. We think it may be the result of one of our warriors, Darkheart, Sacrificing himself, when he is not the chosen one." A black figure shot out of the sky. "What was tha-" Twilightpaw muttered."Was that the same demon that that cat, Darkclaw saved me from?"

"TAKE COVER!" Rainwing meowed pushing Twilightpaw out of the way. The demon Crashed straight at Rainwing throwing him back. "YOU DONT BELONG IN THIS WORLD MONSTER!" Rainwing meowed biting at the demon.

The demon dissapeared in a cloud of steam. Darkheart came slowly out of the trees. Rainwing caught a glimpse of him. In shock Darkheart quickly retreated into the trees. "We must end this gathering now.

Later that night.

"My kits are growing so fast!" Redsky said happily. "Tomorrow they will be apprentices!" Brightkit and Dawnkit played together happily, while Flamekit layed by his mother.

"..Yea....." Rainwing had not told redsky about Twilightpaw's dream yet he was still thinking about the demon and darkheart.

"Something troubling you?" Redsky asked him. "You know you can tell me anything. I can handle it. . . .well, it depends. . ." Redsky sighed. "But unless someone I love is dying this very moment tell me!"
