Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

Everyone quickly ran over to Sage. Rainwing stayed sitting next to Redsky still tending to her wounds.

"Thank you, Rainwing." Redsky muttered under her breath. She slowly tried to get up to check on Sage, but fell on the ground harshly again.

"Dont move, your wounded aready." Rainwing started, "Hey bring sage over here I'll see what I can do." Rainwing continued.

Redsky sat quietly, watching every cat's move.

There was a loud noise that made everyone jump everyone quickly got ready as if they knew what was going on.

"What is going on?" Redsky asked weakly.

"Whoops forgot to tell you about that..." Rainwing meowed embarassed.

"About what?" Redsky asked concerned.

"All the clan cats except for us have turned all black and are attacking everything!" Rainwing meowed.

"WHAT?!" Redsky asked. "THE FOREST WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AND YOU DON'T TELL ME?!"

"I forgot!!!" Rainwing meowed awkwardly.

". . ." Redsky stayed silent. "Why does this always happen to me!" She muttered.

Just then million of shadow like cats broke in and started attacking everything.

Just then a cat jumped in front of Redsky. It was Flamepaw. He clawed everycat in sight and grabbed Redsky. Flamepaw and Redsky suddenly dissapeared.

Meanwhile at the Cat hideout. . . .

"W-where am I?" Redsky asked as she looked around. "Rainwing?" She asked pawing the ground. "Where are you? Flamepaw?" She looked around frantically. Suddenly Flamepaw walked in front of her. "Heh. . ." Flamepaw laughed. "The next time you see Rainwing he will be dead at your paws!!" Suddenly a flicker in the color of Flamepaw's pelt made it lighter. "Help me, Redsky! Help me!" His pelt turned dark again and he quietly walked away.

"GYA!!!!" Rainwing meowed as he slice a cat in the face, the shadow cats were losing but only by a less amount of cats. all of the shadow cats retreated.

Flamepaw walked away as the other cats crowded around Redsky. Then, Redclaw walked ahead of the others. "Heh. . ." she laughed as Redsky's pelt slowly turned black. "H-help!!" She screamed, though nobody could hear her.

"Blacksky?" Asked a shadow cat. "Yes?" Asked a beautiful cat with a blackish silver pelt. "You know what to do. . ." "Yes. . . Bring my mate here to become a shadow cat. She laughed. "And then everything will be happy again . ." Blacksky dissapeared through the trees, knowing where the hideout was, she quietly walked there.

Rainwing quickly destroyed most of the shadow cats turning them back to normal, but more kept coming finnaly He destroyed most of them only a few left and almost evberyone was normal again.

The cats moaned. One muttered something. "Blacksky, she is coming, she was specially transformed. If you destroy her she will die. . .She must save herself, gain partial control, like Flamepaw. Suddenly, Blacksky walked inside the building. "Rainwing! Come with me!" She yelled. "You can either surrender or fight. I'd like a good fight!" Blacksky stood in the doorway and waited.

"Hmph, I do neither." rainwing meowed, Ready for anything.

"Really?" Blacksky meowed twistedly. Suddenly her pelt changed color. "H-help!" She yelled. Her pelt went back to the original silvery black. "Heh. . " She stared at Rainwing's startled stare. "That's right. . . Your precious Redsky is gone, her body belongs to me." She jumped in the sky and landed on Rainwing's back."You've never seen Redsky fight have you?" Laughed Blacksky. "To bad for you, then you do not know her weakness!! You should have been around when she fought her father, Lakestar! But that was Fuzzyfur wasn't it?! And she fought FOR Fuzzyfur then." Blacksky bit Rainwing's neck harshly. "How does that feel?!" She muttered through the fur and skin.

Rainwing stood still shaking Blacksky off of him. "Hmph, Dont mess with me Blacksky! I'll kill you like the mangy rat you are!" Rainwing said with a pain in his voice as he said it. but He did nothing he stood watching Blacksky. Just then he was slammed in the back and something hit him. "GRAGH!!!!!!" Rainwing yelled getting pushed on the ground, As rainwing looked up he Saw flamepaw. Rainwing quickly got up he was cornered by two cats he oved he did not attack though, he let them attack him.

"Blackflame?" Blacksky asked confused. "How did you get here?" Suddenly Blackflame attacked Blacksky. "ARGH!!" She screamed with a deadly screech. "B-but we are on the same side!!" She screeched again as He attacked her once again. "Listen to me! Our mission was to bring back Rainwing! Not kill each other." Suddenly her pelt turned silver again. She smiled. "Keep attacking Flamepaw! I will sooon fully regain control of my body." Her fur turned dark once again. "Heh, Redsky, what an idiot!!" She shrieked. "She doesn't know she is going to die!!" Blackflame jumped on Blacksky, and bit her back. "Huh?!" She shrieked. Suddenly the forest shook, like it was exploding. The darkness shot up, like it was being sucked away. One cat made a difference. The forest was saved. Blacksky lay on the ground as the other cats looked outside. The shadows shot up into the sky and dissapeared, along with the demons. Darkclaw came towards the cats. "I have come to take Blacksky. . ." He muttered. He grabbed Blacksky and flew off with her, dissapearing into the sky.

"..." Rainwing just looked at the sky, Resky was now gone. He just slowly got up and walked back to camp he hadent awnsered anyones questions.

"Every cat old enough to catch their own prey, gather around." Firestar yelled. "Today we would like to recognize Flamepaw for saving the forest. For your control, bravery, and strength, We would like to give you your warrior name, sadly, your mentor and mother isn't here to witness it." Suddenly a silver sat entered camp. "What do you mean?" It asked. It was Redsky.

Everyone looked at Redsky in amazement. "Redsky?!" Rainwing and some other cats yelled.
