Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

"Yeah. . . it's me. . ." She muttered, her pelt shimmering. "Now finish the ceremony please!" She asked. "Flamepaw, from now on you shall be called, Flameheart. Your bravery has been rewarded."

all the cats yelled Flameheart non stop. Rainwing was extremly proud of Flameheart. after the ceremony Rainwing walked over to redsky.

"Rainwing! Flameheart!" Redsky yelled happily. "Darkflame put me somewhere into the forest and then i remember Darkheart, then StarClan saying that it was not right for me to die. . ." Redsky looked off. "Then i was lost in the forest. . ."

"I see." Rainwing and Flameheart both meowed at the same time.

"So. . . what shall we do now that i'm back?" She asked.

"Well actually were both pretty busy..." Rainwing meowed looking at Flameheart. "I have to go on a patrol and Flameheart has to watch the clan entrance." rainwing added.

"Aww. . ." Redsky muttered. She walked to her den and rested.

"Redsky. . " Silverstream wandered. "I have a message for you. . ." "Silverstream!" Redsky yelled surprised. "The forest hasn't healed fully. . ." Silverstream muttered. "Darkheart. . . his mission has been fullfilled, but this isn't done yet. . . Flameheart and Brightpaw. . ." She said distantly. "They are next."

"Redsky! will you stop please!" Rainwing meowed in her ear, Redsky woke up, Redsky had been pawing rainwing's face.

"Oh, sorry. . ." Redsky said. "So, what was I like when I turned into a shadow. . .tell me what happened. . ."

Rainwing looked away as he turned over he did not reply at all nor did flameheart.

"Please!" Redsky said. "Was it really that scary?"

"..I'm going to go grab some fresh kill.." Flameheart meowed leaving.

"Rainwing. . . please!! I heard Darkheart mention the name Blacksky. . . please tell me about her!" Redsky begged.

Rainwing did not reply his tail starting to droop to the ground, he did not want to discuss this no one did.

"I see. . . " Redsky muttered. "She walked quietly out of camp and took a short walk, a common habit for Redsky.

"Wait!" Rainwing meowed. "...I almost killed you, i dident want you to, but you were, different you werent Redsky anymore..." Rainwing said sadly.

"I didn't have control. . ." Redsky muttered. "I don't know if i'm still safe. . . What if Blacksky still lurks in me?"

"Then....I dont know what I'd do..."Rainwing slowly sat back down, he dident want to talk about this anymore Redsky saw that in him.

"I'm sorry, Rainwing. . ." Redsky cried.

Rainwing touched noses with redsky, and left the den.

"Hmm. . ." Redsky muttered.

Rainwing was in a bad mood he quietly walkedo out of camp and just sat at the entrance.

Twilightrain wandered into ThunderClan territory without knowing.

"...Twilightrain?" Rainwing asked noticing a cat in the bushes.

"Huh?" Twilightrain muttered.
