Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

Twilightrain smiled. "Finally." she started to walk to camp.

“Finally.” Flameheart meowed.

Valenica appeared again. "Okay, I thought it over and we can all be friends. You two are the only people who can see me, so I'll be nice to you."

"Right...Well that's good to know." Flameheart meowed.

"I know!" Valencia purred.

"Let's get back to camp." Flameheart meowed.

Valencia grinned. "Okay!" Everything went black for Twilightrain and Flameheart and when they woke up they were in front of RefugeeClan.

"Wah..." Flameheart was extremely wobbly.

"Oh, shut up." Valenica dissapeared.

"I can't feel My toes...." Flameheart meowed.

"Come on. . ."

Flameheart went and lied down in the warriors den.

Valencia appeared by his side. "Aren't you going to ask her? On a date?" she smiled.

"Just be quiet." Flameheart meowed slouching down.

"Oh, but you should! Why is Flamey so grumpy? Twili want you to. I know she does!" Valenica grinned.

"Whatever. I'll ask her tomorrow...Maybe." Flameheart closed his eyes.

"She likes you. She told me!" Valencia meowed before she dissapreared again. Twilightrain walked into the den. "What a day. . ." she sighed.

Flameheart made a muffled sound in agreement.

"Good night Flamehart. . ." Twilightrain smiled as she got in her sleeping spot.

Flameheart sat up to tell twilightrain but she was fast asleep.

Whe Twilightrain woke up in the morning she saw Flameheart in the bed nearest to her.

Flameheart stretched and got up. "Morn'in" flameheart meowed.

"Good morning!" Twilightrain grinned. Valenica showed up for just a moment to say "Good mooooorning, Flamey" then she dissapeared.

"So Twilightrain I was wondering if you would like to go on a-" Flameheart stopped as a cat walked in. "Flameheart we need you to go on a patrol with us. the cat said and pulled flameheart out of the den.

"Twilightrain cocked her head. "A what?" she asked herself in an innocent voice.
