Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

Twilihgtrain stood up. "Leave it alone."

Flameheart pushed the kit back a bit. "Your fighting me now." Flameheart meowed.

Twilihgtrain growled. "Can I join in?"

"No." Flameheart meowed, He stared at scourge with dazed eyes.

"Aww. . ." Twilihgtrain frowned. "I guess I'll watch the kits?"

Flameheart looked over to twilightrain, his eyes we're clouded. "Get everyone out of here..." Flameheart looked back to scourge who was slowly coming closer.

"Okay." she nodded. What's happening to his eyes?

"You have a handicap Scourge, I'm blind now." Flameheart got up.

Ashpelt stood by watching incase he needed to jump in

Scourge pounced at Flameheart. Flameheart dodged swiftly and slashed and scourge's face.

Blind?! Twilightrain thought. That's horrible!!

Flameheart slashed at Scourge's face repeatedly till blood was splurging everywhere, from Flameheart and scourge.

Twilightrain, reluctantly, neared the kit and led it off to safety.

"What is this?" screeched scourge. "where did this power come from!"

Flameheart Dodged another attack of scourge's and started slicing at his belly and face.

Twilihgtrain took another quick glance over to where Flameheart and the newer cat were.

Scourge jumped up and tackled flameheart into a tree making him spit out blood.

Twilightrain almost flew back to the spot, but stopped herself. Flameheart can do it on his own! she reassured herself.

Flameheart sliced down into scourge's face, making him scream. Scourge turned around and ran into the forest.

Twilightrain smiled. See?

Flameheart dropped to the ground and took deep breaths.

Twilightrain rushed up to everyone. "Flameheart, are you okay?!"

"just fine..."

"Are you really blind?" Twilightrain frowned.

Flameheart sat up. "Yes." His eyes we're dazed, it seemed like he wasn't paying attention to anything.
