Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

"Yeah I am." Twilightrain meowed. "I'll show you that way."

"Alright." Flameheart meowed.

"I guess i'll stay here until i'm healed..." Ashpelt mumbled sadly. why couldn't my rage stop him? no one can beat my speed!

Flameheart listened to the darkness quietly, following Twilightrain,

with those two warriors out of the camp, i might be able to attack. when they get back to the devastated camp, they will be destroyed from the inside! scourge thought to himself.

Flameheart hesitated for a moment.

Ashpelt hears a faint rustling outside of the camp.

"How long till we get there?"

(whose speaking there? i'll asume it's flameheart. and also that midna isnt roleplaying for a while. though i'm not good at major twists.)
"not far now" twilightrain replied.

"Flameheart, we're here." Twilightrain quietly padded into the hut, and sure enough, Valencia was there. And laying by her side was the green furred corpse.

"Valencia, Twilightrain said something was wrong?" Flameheart asked.

meanwhile, back at the camp...
"that smells like scourge! he can't be here now!"

Valencia turned around. "I'm guessing you see it?"

"of course we do!"

"Hmph." Valencia faded away. Twilightrain approached the body.

"the camp is under attack!!!" ashpelt yells
at that particular moment, scourge jumps into the clearing.

"Huh, I know exactly where stuff is like I can see, but everything is black in my eyes..."

"I'll get you first," scourge said, looking toward Ashpelt. he started to close in on him.

i can't fend him off now thought ashpelt. he braced himself, ready for the attack...

(don't continue this part, i'm not finishing for suspense. i will finish after more valencia timeline.)

"So, you've gotten yourself blind, huh? You'll just hold us back if you can't see. . ." Valencia frowned. "Soo. . ." She walked into Flameheart. His vision slowly returned. "Be careful, because next time, I wont help you." She reappeared in front of the body. "Do you want me to explain? Of course you'll have to figure the rest out but. . ."

"please explain."

"The first thing that you might think of when you see this" She signaled to the corpse,"When you don't know about me is, 'Could that be Valencia's body?' But it isn't. There used to be a huge group of cats just like me, all of them had greenish fur. Something horrible happened that killed all of us. I was the last. Somehow I ended up like how I am now. The only thing that puzzles me is how Rio got here. . ."

"Rio..?"

"Rio. . . was my best and only friend back then. He was the cat that died before me, actually trying to protect me. He was probably the bravest cat I've ever known."

"Do you know if anyone else, like Rio became a ghost/thing like you?"

"Rio could only appear here if he was a "Ghost like me". I found my body. Maybe we can find him. But first, we should go back to camp."
