Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

"Then why don't we just stay and wait? It'd be nice to rest up."

"Yea I guess." FLameheart meowed.

Twilightrain smiled.

"Though theirs something Valencia is hiding from us....what?"

"She IS dead. And just look at her fur color. I've never seen such a metalic green on a cat."

"Yea..." Flameheart meowed.

"Dunno, maybe we'll find something out here."

"Death." Flameheart suddenly said as it appeared in his mind.

"Flameheart? I just told you that she's dead."

"No....Death..." Flameheart got up wide eyed.

"What about Death?!" Twilightrain asked him.

Flameheart turned Twilightrain so that she could she the dead body of a starclan cat.

"Who is that?!" Twilightrain exclaimed.

"I don't know....It reeks of shadowclan though."

Twilightrain walked up to the cat. "Even I can't tell who it is."

It's body slowly turned into dust.

"No!" Twilightrain cried.

"We need to find everyone else."

"They aren't in here with us?!" Twilightrain dashed out quickly.

Flameheart rammed into Blackwater on his way out. "Oh...Um...sorry.."

Valencia padded up to them. "I'm back!"

Flameheart after gazing at Blackwater for awhile shook his head and looked over at Valencia. "Good we're all safe."

"Wonderful." Valencia replied coldly. She started to walk off. "Coming?"

"...Umm...yes...." Flameheart backed off a bit about how Valencia acted.

"What's wrong with Valencia?" Twilightrain asked him puzzled.
