Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

"Alright."

Valencia dissapeared. Twilightrain smiled. "Nice to see again?"

"Very nice."

They entered the camp.

just as scorge closed in on ashpelt, a white streak burst out from the nearby bushes, bowling scourge over. "Whitefire!" ashpelt yelled in astonishment.

Flameheart jumps on scourge. and drops scourge to the side.

"I hold the power of the stars in my paws. you can't beat me." whitefire said to scourge, his eyes glowing bright blue

Scourgew burst into black flames and rammed whitefire into a wall.

Valencia and Twilightrain joined in the fight too. Another cat appeared in the distance. It's fur caught by the moon glowed a mettalic green. Noone had noticed him yet, because of distance. A high squeeling sound started, and with every passing second, got louder.

whitefire bursts into blue flames, eyes glowing brightly, and pushes back. "it apears we are evenly matched."

A white light shot to the sky. Valencia noticed it. "I'm not doing that."

"Quite. Well then. I'd love to stay and fight but I must take over a forest." Scourge burst into ashes and dissappeared.

whitefire falls foward from the sudden disapearense of scourge. he loses his eye glow and his flames. then he looks at ashpelt, and exclaims "brother! your badly hurt!"

"What the..."

The light zig-zagged to the ground to where it shot up.

"what the, what?" asked whitefire, then followed flamehearts gaze toward the light.
"what the..."

"Well that was weird"

The small shape of a cat dissapeared into the trees nearby it.

Flameheart noticed and looked over. "Weird..."

Twilightrain began walking towards where the shape was. "I'm going to see what it was."

"I'll come with you. i'm injured but my speed isn't just for running," said Ashpelt.
"I'm coming too," spoke out whitefire.

"So I take it I need to stay with the kits then" Flameheart shrugged.

"no, a queen can take care of them," said ashpelt. "i'll go find one now."
