Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

Flameheart looked at her, his leg sent pain through his whole body making it hard to talk.

Twilightrain sat close to his side. "Just stay there." she meowed kindly.

Rainwing lay looking at the lake, everyone noticed a strange white mark going across his body.
"Thank you starclan, thank you for teaching me the shadows way." Rainwing meowed.

Redsky turned from her conversation with Darkheart. "R-Rainwing?!" she stuttered. "I-Is there something wrong?!"

"Eh? Whatta mean?" He asked getting up.

"That white stripe!! Like when Darkheart went berserk!!"

"Darkstripe has the same mark too." Rainwing meowed shrugging. Everyone looked over at Darkstripe who was sitting down happily. he had the mark on his forehead.

"But. . . the mark. . . " Redsky meowed quietly. "Something tells me this isn't going to end well. . . ."

All the clans left back to there clans. Rainwing and Darkstripe quietly talked to each other.

Redsky waited in the bushes, listening to Darkstripe and Rainwing. She was suspicious of the marks.

"Starclan, Has given us un-imaginable power, we gotta use it right." Rainwing and darkstripe meowed.

Redsky frowned. She was right. Something was going on.

"Why are you spying on us?" Dark stripe asked looking over at where Redsky was.

Before anyone could do a thing Redsky dashed off quickly and quietly. "Gotta get out of here!!"

"What's up with her?" Rainwing asked, watching Redsky dart off.

Redsky surged towards RefugeeClan camp, and once she entered, she slowed down. She decided she'd check on Flameheart in the medicine cat's den. The den was flooded, but there was no sign of Flameheart.

Menawhile. . . . . . . .

Twilightrain was walking through her territory, on a hunting patrol, but she couldn't find anything suitable to bring back to camp with her. She decided she wasn't going back to camp without prey. Suddenly, she spotted a plump, fat bird, peacking at the ground. Perfect. She dashed after the bird but it started to fly, she jumped clear into the sky and caught it by the wing but when she landed her eyes were closed and she ran into something. It felt like a cat. "Oww!!" she had heard it yelp.

"Get off me!" the cat yelled. Twilight rain got off to see FlameHeart. "Why did you jump on me?!" FlameHeart asked.

Twilightrain backed away. "Oh, Flameheart! Are you okay?! I'm so sorry!"

"Oh yea i'm fine, squished but fine." Flameheart said calmly.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!!"

"So anyways, what're you doing here, in refugeeclan." Flameheart asked.

Twilightrain looked at him confused. "RefugeeCla-" Suddenly she cut off. "Oh, my!!" she shouted excitedly. "Redsky told me about her and Fuzzyfur became great friends! This is how it happened! After this they met up with that nasty old badger!" Flameheart looked at her like she was crazy.

"Eh. then she joined refugeeclan." Flameheart meowed.

"Yeah. .. " Twilightrain meowed pleasently. "Back when it was ThunderClan. . . Back when her and Fuzzyfur went on such dangerous adventures. . ."

"Yea" Flameheart breathed. a howl was heard a distance away, it had gotten darker.
