Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

"Nothing is wrong Redsky, I just want you to choose, you can't think about anyone or anything from refugeeclan not even you're own kits, if you stay here." Darkheart meowed.

"My own kits?!" Redsky perked up.

" You actually forgot about those three stupid cats? Sad." Darkheart started to laugh.

"Darkheart!!" REdsky started, she was getting agitated. Where did the Darkheaart she loved go?

A cat was thrown past them, Redsky and Darkheart looked back to see a whole bunch of cats attacking the camp. "Choose now redsky, those are some of you're friends, be loyal and kill them or join them." Darkheart meowed.

Redsky was horrified with the decision. She looked at Darkheart, the cat she had longed for for moons, and then at the group of cats. "Twilightrain, Flameheart. . . Fuzzyfur and Rainwing." She muttered to herself. "Darkheart. I'm sorry. Your just not the way you were in the forest, the funny, clutzy, grateful. . .and jealous. . . cat I loved." She got to her paws and walked towards the group of cats that were fighting. "I miss the old you. . ." She replied, not even looking back at him.

"Darn it!" Fuzzyfur yelled as blood trickled down his face. "We're not doing so good!" Flameheart meowed.

Redsky jumped in the middle of Fuzzyfur and Flameheart. "Guys, I'm here to help!"

"Where have you been?!" Fuzzyfur Asked attacking another cat.

"With Darkheart. . ." Redsky yelled over the screaming of countless cats.

"DIE!!!" A cat yelled jumping on top of Flameheart. "GAH!!" Flameheart couldn't get up.

"Flameheart!" Redsky shouted. She wasn't so good at keeping out of trouble, but at least she was a striong fighter. She ran over to Flameheart and hissed at the cat that knocked him over. "Move away or you DIE!!!" She unsheathed her claws and stood her ground.

The cat stood up and slashed at her. Flameheart was covered in blood and could barely move. "Ga....Mom...." Flameheart meowed trying to get up.

"Flameheart, just try not to move. . ." Redsky said softly. She turned to the cat that knocked Flameheart down, but what shocked her was one thing. The cat she was about to kill. . . was Darkheart.

"He dies." Darkheart meowed, slashing at Redsky again.

"Gah!! Darkheart!! I will kill you if you touch my kits!" Redsky meowed harshly. "Or die trying!!"

"Die trying works best for you." Darkheart meowed swiping at Redsky again.

"Darkheart, What's gotten into you? Why are you so different? The cat that died for me. . . or at least that is what I saw. . . Was so different!" She meowed striking him hard.

"I'm still that cat, I've only been training with lakestar to grow stronger." Darkheart replied this time striking redsky so hard it knocked her off to feet.

"And what did Lakestar do?!" She shouted. "What did he do to train you?!"

"Hmph." Darkheart growled. "Doesn't matter to me if you're alive anymore." Darkheart growled again swiping at Redsky's face.

"I'm sorry, Darkheart. . ." Redsky told him. "I thought I could trust you. . . one of my first friends in RefugeeClan." She bowed her head sadly. "I'm sorry, but i'll have to kill you. . ."

"Does it really matter to me? No! of course not." Darkheart started to luagh , Swiping at Redsky a couple more times.

Redsky was sad no longer. She jumped backwards and flew to Darkhearts neck. She bit it so hard she thought he would choke, she used his neck to sling him away.

He got up and looked like he was about to laugh. "Time for death!" Darkheart laughed, but a But another cat jumped on him, knocking him to the ground. "Heh, Hey Redsky." Darkpelt grinned.
