Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

Twilightrain looked at him sadly. "What will we do now?"

"Head back to Lakeclan." Flameheart got up. and walked over to Ashpelt. "Are you okay?"

Valencia was horrfied. "That green fur. . . It couldn't have been." She was still looking into the hut. She just couldn't move her paws. Or float.

Scourge scurried through the forest till he finds a quiet place to sit.

Valencia heard heavy paw prints. "Who could that be?" She paused. "Whoever it is, they cant see the body, or my secret will be out. . ."



(Ever since I created Valencia I've had this secret for her. Bet you can't figure it out!)

"Flameheart, should we be worried about where Scourge is going? And where Valencia is?"

"We'll find scourge later...as for valencia you can go look for her."

"What about you guys?" Twilightrain meowed.

"I can watch them....sorta..." Flameheart meowed.

"I really sorry about your eyes, Flameheart." Twilightrain frowned. She dissapeared into the trees.

The footsteps were coming closer. Valencia had found her way into the hut and in front of the green-furred cat's dead body.

flameheart listened as he huddled the two kits together.

we need to find a way to get the kits back to starclan.

"Or not, It's gruesome up there, trust me." Flameheart meowed.

"what"
"what happened?"

"The place is covered in demons, monsters are killing all the cats there."

"When did this happen!?! i thought the demons were just down here!!!"

"No, Scourge managed to unleash them in starclan and here."

"then we need to save starclan. i know who we need to find. Whitefire, my clans medicine cat is very close to starclan, but my clan is very far away!"

"We can't leave yet though." flameheart meowed sitting up

then, hopefully whitefire knows to come here.

Flameheart stayed silent for a moment. "We didn't have a proper introduction....I'm Flameheart...you are?"

I'm ashpelt. my ancestry founded the clan i am from. i share the founders name. my brother is whitefire.

"ah...Well Ashpelt, Thanks for saving us."

"you did most of the work... not even my speed could beat him..." he said. "i hate going into rage..." he added more silently.

"Ashpelt, Do you think I'll still be able to be a warrior even though i'm blind?"

"you fought off scourge! of course you can!"
