Welcome to 'The World'

Haru, A high level Adept Rogue wandered the plains of the field he had entered earlier. "Where is that character?" He'd occasionally say to himself. "Maybe I miread the e-mail. . ." Before he could take the head display off he saw a PC in the distance. "Could that be- " He was silenced. The character walked closer to him. "What's Haseo the PKK doing here?" It was a PK, the one that sent him the e-mail. "For the last time, I'm Haru, Not Haseo!!" He brought up a menu and teleported to a different area, a newbie area. He saw a character teleporting in too. His abilities and weapons were weak. "Must be a newbie." he said to himself as he approached the character.

"Huh...This is a interesting place, Think I might enjoy this." Marik said calmly.

Haru appeared in front of Marik. "Welcome to "The World" ! Are you a newbie?"

"Yes, i'm a newbie." Marik said calmly, with a tiny hint of being annoyed in his voice.

"Then it's a good thing I got to you before the PKs did." He looked Marik over. "Well, MArik did you read the game manual?"

"PKs? You mean them?" Marik pointed over too 3 PKs on the floor. "No I didn't bother reading the manual." Marik said calmly now seemingly bored.

"Well, I guess I'll have to teach you about "The World". . ." The three PKs walked towards Marik and Haru. "But that'll have to wait!" grinned one. "Haseo and a newbie!" laughed another one. "What a catch!" sneered the leader. "Marik? You want to help me take these guys down?"

"Sure?" Marik said calmly. He looked at the PKs for a second. "Go for the leader." Marik said bored.

"You know how to fight, or will I have to teach you? Most newbies don't know how. . ." He turned his weapon into a sword.

Marik got his sword ready and stabbed at a PK. "Hmph. Worry bout yourself."

"Ugh. We'll break you down. You newbies lways think you're the best until you get PKed." He smiled. The leader, a girl with red hair and a thorned sword, (Bordaux from G.U.) ran at Haru. "Breaking newbie are you, Haseo?" The girl was a level 57. I no way did Marik stand a chance. Haru held out his hand to push Marik away. "Marik! Go get the other PK! Bordaux is to high of a level for you to be anywhere near!"

Marik jumped in the air and sliced down breaking the thorn sword in half. "Shut up" Marik said calmly.

Bordaux regenerated the sword and laughed. "What an idiot of a newbie!!" She ran for Marik. "Marik! You have to listen to me! One hit and you're dead! She's almost as high a level as me!" It was too late Bodaux slashed Marik, cutting an arm off and Marik was sent to the Game Over screen, Where Haru had been once before and It's not a very fun place, considering sometimes a virus gets in there and makes it impossible to log out. Haru's eyes darkened and he raised his sword. "By the way, I'm Haru, not Haseo, my name is a name that should frighten you much, much, more!" Bordaux's body turnd gray and she was sent to the Gam Over screen too. "Now to wait for Marik to teleport back."

Marik was back. "Agh, That was annoying.." Marik said calmly.

"Did you get stuck?" Haru laughed. "I hate that virus. I hear a player was playing "The World" while she or he was in a coma. This game is so weird. . . . Well, anyways, anything I need to teach you?"

"No thanks." Marik said annoyed. "I think I found out stuff on my own."

"Why do you always sound so bored and annoyed? You're annoying me!!" Haru accidentally blurted out.




(Haru ticks easily I passed one of my traits off to him, Anger Managment Issues. =D

"Just shut up already." Marik said calmly, starting to walk away.

"You're being such a brat! I tried to help you, and I don't even get a thanks?! I deserve it for putting up with your snotty attitude, when you really need help, NOBODY is going to help you if you keep acting like that! The PK's will kill you even at a high level and the PKK's will too! You'll be restricted to certain areas of "The World". I'm trying to help you survive as a newbie, but if you don't want to, fine!" Haru stomped off and teleported to a different area.

(And he's great at yelling =D)

"Heh." Marik laughed as Haru teleported away.

A character walked over to Marik. "What did you do to Haru? He doesn't get that mad that fast."

"Oh nothing really." Marik said calmly walking off.

"The girl ran up to him again. "Well, I'd watch out, newbie. Haru likes to hold grudges and PKK's a little bit. Keep from PKing and you might be a bit safe, but he'll still go after his enemies. My name is Omi, I'm one of the admins!" she hld out her hand.

"......I see.....Thanks, for the advice." Marik looked at Omi for a few seconds and turned around. "Thanks Omi." He walked away.

"No problem!" She waved and teleported.
