Side Story: I am Exia.

NOTE: This story leads up too Chapter 6. Read this to learn more about Exia's past. and why maple and Thorn aren't in it.
The wind blew hard as I ran through the forest, My death near, until I finally saw a cat...I got closer to the cat as I walked over to it, it seem motionless dead, and as I saw thew face I realized.....It was my brother.....


Prolouge


"Brother!!! Wake up!" Meowed a cat, I opened my eyes and realized as always I was dreaming. "My gosh, Are you drewaming of the forest again?" The cat asked. "Yea....I gotta remember I'm just a kittypet, not one of those fabled Clan cats...." I meowed. "Either wayy brother is waiting for us! Are owners are dishing are food! come on!" The she cat meowed. "Right.." I replied following her.

Later, when they were all finished eating.

"Sister...Brother.." I meowed. "Yes Exia?" My sister meowed. "I think I'm going to leave to the forest...." Exia meowed getting up and walking to the kitty door. "WHY!?" My sister asked horrified of the thought. "Maple, let Exia continue." My brother meowed. "Yes thorn..." Maple meowed. "...These dreams are too much....I need to find out what they mean.." Exia meowed, with that Exia said good bye to Thorn and licked Maple's ear and left.

"Wait!" Maple meowed. "I'm going with you! I can't bear to be away from my brother!"

"I'm coming too!" Thorn meowed. "But...what if one of you get hurt??" Exia meowed horrified of the thought.

"I wont!" Maple meowed.

"..fine...Just...."Exia started then stoppped, Exia had second thoughts for a moment..then went out.

Maple sat for a moment, seriously confused, but then soon caught on. "Brother!! Exia!!! Wait for me!!" She wailed.

Exia, Maple, and thorn had been traveling though the town for awhile now, Exia stopped abruptly. "I think we're lost." Exia meowed, looking around.

"Aww. . ." Maple sighed, scraping the ground with her small paw. "Well, now what do we do?" She asked her brothers.

"Head home, that's what we do." Thorn said turning around. " Go ahead. I'm gonna continue forward though." Exia said starting to walk again.

Maple stayed put and stared at the ground. "Well, who should I go with. . ." She cried to herself. She lifted her head up and looked at Exia. She smiled. "Exia! You need protection! I'll be your bodyguard!!"

"Bodyguard huh? I don't need any bodyguard!" Exia meowed calmly and started to walk towards the thunderpath. Thorn groaned and followed maple and Exia

"Exia. . ." Maple sighed sadly. "No matter where you go, I'll follow you. . ."

As they walked across the thunder path a monster Roared and came running down the thunder path toward Them. "RUN!!" Exia called back scurrying to the otherside, Thorn close behind him except for Maple who was standing there frozen. Then, it all happened.

"E-E-E-. . ." Maple stuttered. "EXIAAAAAAAAA!!" she screamed.

Exia shot for Maple, running as fast as he could. But tripped. Now he could only watch the terror.

Maple screamed in pain. "Exia!!! Thorn!!" she cried in terror. She couldn't move her leg.

THorn rushed over and grabbed maple by the scruff, and pulled her out of the thunderpath, then came bakc and did the same with Exia.

"Th-Thorn. . ." Maple cried faintly, before she blacked out.

Thorn dragged Maple while Exia looked fora place to rest.
