Chapter 5: A battle against Darkness.

"Aww, you don't even remember you're own dad." The voice meowed. Then lakestar walked out of the bushes.

"LAKESTAR!!" Redsky purred happily. She ran up to Lakestar. "How is LakeClan?"

"Oh just fine..." Lakestar grinned looking at Rainwing. "What." Rainwing asked.

Redsky smiled. "Lakestar! I havn't seen you in forever!!"

LakeStar didn't reply, He walked over to Rainwing.

Redsky was not good at following and stalking, but she was good at acting. She was trying to get her father when he wasn't looking.

"Perfect.....Rainwing, Why don't you come with me real quick." Lakestar asked, starting ti smile even more.

"Where are you taking him, Lakestar?" Redsky asked curiously. "Can I come?"

"Maybe..His corpse would do good....Huh? Oh sure you can come." Lakestar replied looking at the bushes.

"Wonderful!" Redsky replied.

Rainwing and Redsky followed Lakestar to Lakeclan. "Welcome to the camp." Lakestar meowed.

"Wow. . . " Redsky meowed. "Rainwing. . . did I ever tell you, this is actually, MY clan?"

"Wow..." Rainwing meowed. "So Rainwing how would you like to be leader of this clan?" LakeStar asked.

Redsky gasped. "What?!" she shouted. "Why do you want to make my mate the leader?!"

Lakestar ignored her. "Rainwing, it's best if you become leader. You don't really have a choice anyways." Lakestar meowed as cats circled them.

"Lakestar!! Fuzzyfur and I defeated you once, we can do it again!!" Redsky shouted. "Don't listen to him, Rainwing!!"

Lake star smashed into Rainwing knocking him into the water. Then turned to Redsky. "Daughter. It's you and me now." Lakestar laughed.

"W-Why do you want me NOW?!" Redsky asked him.

"I only need one, I'll finish you then use rainwing." Lakestar meowed.

"Why do you HATE me so much?!" Redsky asked angrily. "I've lost enough okay!? Darkheart is just one thing!!"

"Ah so you love Darkheart....Come out here my boy!" Lakestar yelled.

"Darkheart?!" Redsky gasped. She scowled at her father. "HOW DARE YOU?!"

DarkHeart walked out to LakeStar's side. "Hello RedSky." DarkHeart meowed.

"Darkheart!" She cried, half happy, half horrified. "I thought you died! I couldn't get over it! You'll help me wont you?"

"Redsky, Come join us, I don't want to see you hurt...." Darkheart meowed softly looking at Redsky.
