Chapter one....The Monster out there.

"Nothing. . ." Ukarii said as she walked on. "Take me to your pack. I'd like to try to join them. They may not accept me, though. . .." her voice trailed off.

"Dont worry! I am third in command in the pack!" Keenan said cheerfully.

"Hmm. . ." Ukarii pondered. "I'm sure it wont hurt. . ." She talked to herself.

"Heh!" Keenan luaghed a bit in a cheerful mood. you could tell he was a care free animal.

"Come on." Ukarii said, strangely allready knowing the direction to his pack. She was truly a strange wolf, even for a loner. She was obviously hiding a dark memory, nobody knowing about.

"Hm, you okay? you seem like your hiding something" Keenan said.

"It seems like you are going to find out sooner or later, so I'll tell you little. . ." Ukarii replied. "I'm. . .not your everyday wolf. . .The wolf was gone a long time ago."

"Heh, Then were the same!" Keenan said. "I was a human once... but now I'm a wolf!" Keenan added.

Ukarii stood silent. "Y-you are right. . ." Ukarii added. "The last thing I remember was a deathly shreik."

"Shriek huh?" Keenan said a bit creeped out.

"Heh," Ukarii giggled. "I told you I was different!!"

"Well I heard screaming." Keenan said.

"Really?" Ukarii stayed silent. "I felt grief for the dying scream. I don't remember who she was. . ."

"...Well, I remember dragons braking in then folowing a man into a room then a loud scream...." Keenan started, "Then I blacked out..." Keenan continued.

"Did you feel sorrow for this man?" Ukarii asked quietly.

"yes, I felt there was a bond between us as if he was my dad..." Keenan said.

"Smae with me. . .maybe my sister. . " Ukarii replied.

"Oh well...It was a past life! it dosent matter anymore!" Keenan said cheerfully.

"Yes it does. . . your too carefree. . ." Ukarii replied. "Can't you see? We're different, we'll never truly fit in. . ."

"Hmph, it's not like we'll get any clues unless we figure a way out of the forest anyways." Keenan said.

"True. . " Ukarii replied.

"This forest covers half of this planet it's not like just one more step and-" Keenan stopped moving and talking as he bumped into something."Or we can do that...." Keenan said.

"Huh?" Ukarii replied, confused.

"Glass!!! Pure glass! Look through the glass and it leads to a old run out town! If only we could break the glass.." Keenan Said looking at the glass for a moment.

"How do we break it?" Ukarii asked herself.
