The Beginning

Kyoko walked around Ember City. She was thinking about the wars that were going on. Wars had been raging for as long as she lived, maybe longer. 14 years ago the princess had dissapeared from the castle and Ember City blamed the neighboring Kingdoms. Kyoko could not remember her family either. She had lost them a long time ago. She lived on the streets and nobody but the kind marketer really cared for her. He would give her free food whenever she asked.

"...Heh heh.....brother....We cant die like this...." Dawn said looking at his brother on the ground. both wounded badly."Brother....You gotta live.......We were on this mission by ember city, we need to finish it...." Dawns brother said, blood coming out of his mouth.

"Make way!!" yelled men pushing their way through the crowds in the city. They pushed Kyoko to the ground as they ran through. People crowded around to see two badly wounded soldiers.

More men ran into the City. "Out of the WAY!!" they yelled. "These two were on a mission for Ember City! We found them half dead near the battleground!" they yelled.

"One spoke!!" yelled a man. He turned to Kyoko. "You! Take these men to the infirmary, NOW!"

"Fine. . " the man said "We will bury him. You! take him now!" he pointed at Kyoko.

"I'm sorry that officer was so loud. . . It must have hurt your ears. . " Kyoko said appologetically. She pulled up a chair. "Mind if I keep you company?"

"I'm sure you'll get lonely and i have nothing better to do, except get pushed around the streets!!" Kyoko laughed.

"Heh.." Dawn made a little luagh. "Un..." Dawn madde a little noise of pain, So he took his shirt off and pulled a Sharp needle out of his chest. "Gragh....." Dawn made loud noise of pain this time, it was deep in him. "Brother.....I have to live..." Dawn said looking at the needle.

We were ambushed and tortured...My brother died...i was the only one left..." Dawn said still looking at the needle.

"That is so sad. . ." Kyoko replied. "Oh, I am Kyoko. I'm looking for the lost Princess. She is rumered to be about 16, like me."
